Harry and Kathleen's home was always open to their many friends.

Over the years, its sprawling grounds and lanai's have provided a warm and happy setting for countless luau's including the underground cooking pit ‘IMU’ (for making Kalua pig), featuring traditional Hawaiian music, singing and hula dancing.

After the passing of Kathleen in 1992 and then Harry in 1997, the property was

handed down to Harry's two daughters from a previous marriage.

Lisa, the eldest, and Janet our mother, currently reside on the

Island of Mallorca, (Balearic Islands) in Spain.

After 2O years of also living in Spain, Hilary kept coming back to visit

Hale Steward, till one visit she decided to stay in Kauai.

Our Hawaiian friends say that this special place still has the ‘Aloha’ (love) and the feeling of ‘Ohana’ (family) alive, created by their Father and Stepmother.

Hilary has since started an ‘Ohana’ of her own.

Yes, twin girls ‘Ginger and Olivia’ were born Jan 3, 2005.
